Matt is right. It's hard to do this with an open-ended challenge. I chose to do a simple graphic explaining the hierarchy of an anatomy of an essay. This is very basic and could include more detail but I chose to keep it simple for a basic look at what an essay entails. I started with a very vertical approach to it because writing is from left to right but also top to bottom. Glancing at a piece of writing from further back, one can see how it is really a top-bottom approach. Thus, I started with the title and then numbered the steps in which the process should take place (top to bottom). However, there are arrows to also direct the viewer. I tried to keep this very simple and directed.
