I just realized that I never posted my final picture book on the blog! Oops! Here it is. Thanks for all the feedback, I tried to incorporate all of it. Sorry it is so long and small, I'm not sure how to upload it as a multipage document. You can right click and save the image so that you can zoom in and read it.

New Post for Week April 20th - Effective Slide Creation in Education
While reviewing module 15, I realized that although most individuals understand the concept of slide sharing or creating a visual PowerPoint, it is easy to become reliant on using them. What I truly did realize (or come to understand) is that when instructors or companies create PowerPoints, they become reliant on them since they are unaware of how to effectively implement them. Most create PowerPoints with a specific style that encourages more decorative layouts or illustrations. However, we now know differently. We currently understand that stylistically our brain requires less visual data and stimulus in order to effectively retain the information that we are provided with. It is also understood that with a more basic layout, with less text, and more effective use of illustrations, it sets us up for success in our visual presentations.
With all that being said, I will stop typing this huge block of text that contradicts exactly what I just said. The links that I have provided below are additional resources that enable us to create more effective visual presentations to various groups of people.

Christy's Final Website
I am pretty pleased with the way this site turned out, but I will probably make a few changes after I show it to the Educational Leadership program director. I am hoping that he will use it, since the JMU website has limited space and opportunities for customization. I think this project is particularly beneficial for this program, because students are recruited from across the state. This makes it especially important for these prospective students to have easy access to detailed information.

Leisha's Final Website.
It took FOREVER, but I think I finally got things the way that I want them to be! I have some items linked to LCPS websites (Loudoun is where I hope to teach) but for the most part a lot of the information is made up since I do not have a teaching job yet. I tried to use the colors from my logo, focusing mainly on the orange, green and purple. The pictures are from my student teaching experience in Loudoun or images I created in Canva. If you saw the rough draft then you know it has changed a lot since Wednesday. The links should all work and take you to the various pages and websites.

Mariya's Final Picture Book
Here is the final version of my picture book. I added additional pops of color that I thought were necessary and made the format more consistent (and clear). I also added page numbers, changed the font, and even added additional, self-created illustrations (which were extremely difficult for me). It was definitely a fun experience and it has also made me realize how limited I am with my artistic abilities.
Erin's Final website
Here is my website.
It is hard for me to create a website and not know where and what I am teaching. So I made up who my team and my team name is. When I am hired I will know all this information.

I fixed my icons on my artifact page and also updated my home page. I think it looks better and I'm excited to add to it when I learn about new educational tools!

Lauren Manual Final
Here's my stunting manual! I appreciate the feedback and definitely think it enhanced the final product. The last two pages show what other categories could look like. They will be in the same format but have a different heading color.
