Logos: HELP!

For another course, I am conducting a Needs Assessment for my company and attempting to provide simple solutions to their perceived issues. Above are some logos I have been playing around with and can't decide what idea I like best! Please, any feedback is appreciated.

  1. Hi Leah -
Nice variations of logos! I believe I find the first logo (with the puzzle pieces) to be the most "fitting" for the design. I think that the puzzle pieces resemble people and them coming together to create a solution which works great with the Simple Solutions wording. It also has multiple concepts that we discussed in class the other night such as lines, color, and repetition. I'm wondering if you could make the word "Simple Solutions" the same color as one of the puzzle pieces? Also, the outline of the puzzle pieces is kind of shaped like an "S." So I think it would look really cool if you could somehow manipulate the pieces a bit more enabling it to read as the "S" in the beginning of "Simple Solutions?" Nice work!

  2. I commented on your post earlier, but it disappeared. I asked if maybe you could tell us a little bit about your organization. That will help us pick the logo. That being said, I really like the blue flower. My only suggestion would be to maybe find a bit more interesting font?

  3. I do like the design of the first one and the third one. But, I agree, I would like to know a little bit more about the company to ensure that I help select a logo with a purpose.

  4. I like the first one the best, I wonder if you could take the puzzle pieces and in the white space between the puzzle pieces have it spell out "Simple Solutions".

Or if you take a plain white puzzle and have one piece missing in the middle that is a different color. The missing piece could say "Simple" and the empty place where the piece goes says "Solutions" showing that the solution to the puzzle is simple. Something like this but obviously not with an image that has a watermark on it.

  5. I am assisting a retail loss prevention organization with their development program for high potential associates. It's nothing official but I'm really glad you guys felt the same way about the puzzle pieces. I'm glad you said that Kara, I just tried to eyeball the color but it's obvious looking at it here that I need to use the eye dropper. I did try to play around with the S idea...and it proved to be quite difficult! We had the same idea! I just couldn't incorporate it as much as I liked so I'm glad at least the puzzle idea is a hit! I do like what you did Rob but I think it's a little too white space for what I would be using it for (mostly letterhead). I am currently still debating the puzzle and flower!
