Marcia's New OASS Logo

Recreated, and UVA colors added. Any and all feedback appreciated. "Words" are technically centered, but visually look low to me.

  1. I think that's a pretty good improvement. Yeah, the text may be centered but if it doesn't LOOK centered, fix it so it does. If you see it's off, everyone else will too.

  2. I like the addition of color and gradient, it definitely looks more like a platter now! I'm confused though why UVA colors. Maybe I misunderstood where OASS comes from (I had thought JMU). I could definitely see this on pamphlets and flyers. Where else might the logo appear? The dark blue with black lines might be difficult to see in certain instances.

  3. Thanks, Rebecca! I thought about making the black lines a bit stronger, so will give that a try. I don't know that the logo would be used on anything other than posters or pamphlets. But maybe a nice sign for the door to our office suite? And I work at UVA's School of Nursing. =)

  4. I think the color really adds a lot and makes a much bolder statement. The gradient softens it up just the right amount. I agree with Katie that the text looks off.It could be an illusion due to the difference in the amount of text, but the spacing at the top and bottom seems inconsistent. Very nice though.

  5. I think the color makes a HUGE difference! I agree with Becca that the lines would make more of an impact if they were stronger. I'd love to see the final final draft if you have that completed?
