  1. Caitlin,

Wow, love this! You have a great color scheme going--not too many colors but enough to draw viewers' attention and keep the entire document fun and not boring. It was smart to use a beige background, because an employer can easily print it out and not waste a ton of color ink. (I need to lighten the background in mine, because I used dark grey, which I think employers would hate to print!) Great idea emphasizing all the ways that employers can contact you, especially the QR code. Does that link to your website? Everything looks pretty well-aligned, in a nice grid-like format. I REALLY like that you placed some of your words vertically, like "contact" and "most recent." This change of text orientation helps to emphasize the most important parts of your resume.

Although your briefcase graphic seems to imply that all text below it is your work experience, it may help to actually have the words "Work Experience," or something like that, just so there is no confusion. Same goes for your graduation cap graphic. In addition to it, you might want to add an "Education" header to clarify. And it might also be nice if you orient both these graphics consistently either to the left or right of their respective columns, if that makes sense. Like currently the graduation cap is at the right hand side of the left column, while the briefcase is on the left hand side of the right column. Maybe both could go to the left of their columns?

    Great work!!

    1. Great visual resume; nice use of color, images and space throughout - this really does embody the infographic - graphic resume ideal.

My suggestions include using shape boxes behind your education and work experience, (like you did with your contact information) because the texture of your background with the text right over it is distracting to the eye.

Use of capitals and different font type is a bit overwhelming, my eye is pulled in a number of directions for what is most important to read first - may want to consider limiting these for consistency and fluidity throughout.

      Great work!
