Morgan's Visual Resume

Here is what I'm thinking so far for my visual resume.  Feedback please :)

  1. Hi Morgan,

I like how you color coded your experience but I would like to see more muted colors than the green and purple you have chosen. I have found the color schemes that are presented in certain programs to be effective ways of choosing color.

I would like to see more information about your tutoring experience and have you place one of the light blue blocks in another place so that 2 colors are not right on top of each other. In the header, I would do a simple black on gray for your name. The box looks a little generic.

In fact you could add your name in a box above your picture with the top of that box aligning with the top border of the picture, leaving room to expand your experience blocks to include more information.

    Hope this helps.

  2. I agree with Matt - that the colors should be in the same color family. Also either alternate all of the colors or have each of the four double blocks the same color like the work experience one. I think that would look very clean. Could you add more information to the tutor box? What kinds of skills do you tutor? Where? For how long? You have more room in the box, why not use it? Picture looks great! ;-)
