  2. Sarah, Great photo! If you are going to use someone else's photo on your poster, you need to cite the image on your poster. With regard to layout of your poster, consider how contrast, alignment, proximity, repetition, type, color, space, depth, and shape may improve the overall aesthetic and memorability of your poster. Blue is typically a "cool" color. Try using a warm color (but not too bright) in place of the blue. Be aware of your margins. Your picture bleeds off the page, and this is okay, but be aware of what that does to the text on your poster. The text on the bottom section is awfully close to the right edge. Also, consider layout (spacing) of the text. Do you want to center the text? Did you consider 2 columns of text? Is there a font that would work for both the heading and the body copy so that there is visual continuity? These design decisions will affect the overall appearance and effectiveness of your poster.

  3. Sarah! I love your poster! The light blue is great! Black is an excellent font color to use on the blue. Just a few ideas-

    1. Move the contact information (Dr. Beverly) to the center of that black bar.

    2. Make the Ghandi text a bit smaller so that you have the same blue space above the quote and below his name.

    3. Watch your margins-some of the items are super close to the edge!

I love it though! Great work!
