Activity 6

I chose to show how my first graders develop spelling.  Typically students come to my first grade classroom with letter sound recognition.  We then focus on beginning and ending sounds and work towards mastery of CVC (consonant, vowel, consonant) words.  Very few students in my class are introduced to long vowel words.
