Sam Dowell Brochure

I created this brochure for the Salamanca Dual Masters Degree.

  1. I like your choice of images, though Salamanca shows buildings up close and Harrisonburg shows buildings from far away. Any chance you can get a good mix of both for both cities?

You should try to add more color to the front/back panels (columns 2 and 3 on the first page) in order to entice readers to pick up the brochure. I would also make the title more interesting. You have a good amount of spacing between columns/page edges and you chunk information well on the page. I see why you chose to make the inside page alignments Left, Center, Right; but it doesn't read well if a user is viewing the brochure folded up and looking at one panel at a time. I would change those alignments to all be left-aligned. Also, place some borders around your images, the bottom two have skies that blend into the background of the brochure.

  2. I agree with Becca that the alignment seems off when looking at things. I cannot tell if the title on the front is centered or not, so it looks odd. I also think a more exciting font for the front would draw me in. I do like the choice to use a quote on the front page, but it needs more flair. The back center panel has lots of white space, which is good, but needs to be rearranged. Too much is empty at the top. I think working on alignment and a touch of color will make this pop.
