I was working on the assignment and I thought I had posted it. I was informed today that my draft was not on the blog so I do not know what happened. Attached is the link to what I had on Friday for the draft. Feedback is appreciated.

I'm confused, because when I click on your buttons on the "Blackboard Collaborate" page that say "audio setup," "chat box," etc., nothing happens. Are they supposed to take the user to a new page or open a document or something? When I click on the buttons on the "Blackboard" page, documents open, so that works fine on my computer. I like how you organized your website based on the different tasks that are typical for Bb users, and how you organized your screenshots in your "how-to" pdf documents very clearly so that they are easy to use/understand. Sometimes, though, it might be hard for users who are new to Bb to know how you get from one step to the next (within your how-to documents), because not all of your screenshots give the user enough of the context they might need to know where on the computer screen to locate specific things (if that makes any sense?). So make sure it is clear when you jump from one step to the next. Also, it might be nice if your website had just a bit more color! Right now it seems just a bit too white :)

ReplyDeleteI like how your home page gives a description of each of the programs that will be explored. I also like how you used a screen shot to give viewers an actual example. The steps next to the pictures are simple, which allows for deeper understanding. I was also unable to access anything from the collaborate page. Looks good though!
