Freshmen Parking Flyer

  1. Britney,

Initially, I did not realize you were all posting separate versions of your flyer drafts, so I ended up putting most of my comments, regarding color at least, in the first draft that was posted.

I really love the font you used as the headline, at the top, and I think it works well with your integration of the rounded car icon/logo. The dotted lines are a nice touch, as they harp back to the whole asphalt theme. These lines are consistent throughout each section of the flyer, which is appealing.

What I like most is how you added sub-headers that guide readers to only the content that pertains to them, or that they are most interested in. They can go straight to the "What is FP?" section if they just want to find out what it is, without having to sort through less-related information.

The white space in the upper right corner bugs me a little, so could you put in another testimonial there maybe? Or something else, it just looks "empty."

  2. I love that you're heading correlates with the poster you guys made. Also, I like that it stands out from the poster so that I know what I'm looking at right away.

My only advice would be instead of a paragraph of information, it might be best to use key words or bullets? That way it is easier to get the information right away.

  3. I like the simplicity of this, yet the message is still portrayed. The dotted lines are repeated throughout which is a nice touch. I do agree with Katie and possibly using bullets for the "What is FP" section.

  4. Raleigh- I know, we were all kind of working on our own ideas to start out with before we collaborated to one flyer. I agree with the white space at the top, I hadn't quite gotten the flyer to where I would have wanted it to be, and that's one of the things I wanted to work on. Katie and Shaun - I originally had them as bullets and decided to go with paragraph form, but now that you mention it, I see that it might be a good idea to stick with the bullet form to keep consistent with the rest of the material.

    Thanks for the feedback :)
