For my logo, I used the pencils that are in the pyramid on my brochure and poster. I tried to make the exponent look like an apple to keep the school theme of the logo.
I like it Kelsey. The pencils are appropriate and fit nicely with the design of the rest of the documents. I would suggest modifying the "2" part as it is harder to see it as an apple. The 2 more in the shape of an apple would help but overall it seems good to me.
