Here are two images of the poster I created for the Dual Master's Degree in Spanish Language and Culture graduate program. I am having trouble saving my image, so for now I am posting a screenshot of the word document until I can work out technical difficulties.
I really like this picture. It really draws my eye up, so I wonder if it should go on the bottom (which goes against all design principles). I am not sure if that works, but it might. The layout looks really clean and I would stop to read this. The font on the left is a little hard for me to read, but that could be my old eyes. Overall I really like this.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Andee that the copy font is a bit too hard to read... possibly because it is thin? Maybe bolding that font type will help make it more readable (it is a good font type choice so try to keep it... just make it more readable). I love the picture and really think this design is great! Can you find a JMU logo that doesn't have the white background? If not, then make the background white for the logo area so the two logos look like they came from the same company/designer.
ReplyDeleteI would move the college crests to align differently. Maybe not centering them, but maybe if you move the Salamanca crest over to the right more it would look more balanced. I like the background and layout a lot!
ReplyDeleteHere's a link where you can download a JMU crest image with no background color. It's important to make the two seals match.
ReplyDeleteAlso, since the picture has lines that draw the eye up, consider having the headline at the top of the page.
