I like the narrative you created with the images and copy! I'm confused by the 'Boston' and 'New York' and 'D.C.' callouts on your U.S. map, and I'm unsure most students would know where in Europe Spain is... but otherwise I like the use of the maps. For your text copy, I suggest making the paragraph left-aligned and fixing the punctuation/grammar. Is the paragraph's color the same as the heading? It looks a bit lighter. Really good draft! I look forward to seeing more!
I like the design but agree that Harrisonburg should be the popout and not the other places. The link to Spain is nice and draws the connections you want to make, but it has to be a connection to JMU.
If this is for the people in Spain, it makes sense to have the larger U.S. cities and the close-up of Spain. If it's for a U.S. audience, I suggest emphasizing Harrisonburg (or JMU's placement on the East coast) and putting Spain in context of Europe (Americans generally stink at geography).
