For this message, I thought it would be most effective to keep the statements short and sweet. Discouraging young people to not smoke is something very important so I decided to keep the message concise and direct! I kept the background black and had the first two points in light colors so they popped but were not too harsh. I wanted to pull attention to the main point of "Just don't start" inside the cigarette.
Hi Christina! I love the cigarette image-did you just place a black textbox over the image? It's a neat idea.
ReplyDeleteThe black and read work well together! Consider making all the font styles the same! I like the "Just don't start" font. The red text in the middle could be bolder-make it stand out! Lastly why don't you center the title? Just change the alignment.
It's a nice image-just work with the text to make it even BETTER!!!
Not a big fan of the colors used, but I do like the idea of the message in between the cigarette. It looks a little off centered, though. As for the "How can you prevent yourself from being a statistic?", I like how it's placed a little bit to the left - balances the smoke from the cigarette.
ReplyDeleteChristina, very creative! For the cigarette, try using the bold version of the sans serif font you use in the rest of the poster. This would help unify your poster. Also, make sure you center the text between the two halves of the cigarette. Experiment with the size, color, and placement of the other text on the page. You may be able to come up with something even stronger than your current solution!
