  1. I like the textured background and the criminal justice graphic. I think the information is laid out in a way that is simple and easy to read. The pictures feel like they need either a border or rounded corners or something. They seem to be just placed there. They are good and add to the brochure, but they don't seem finished. Also, you have a filter on them. I cannot tell if I like it or not. It does go with the theme, but on the outside they look more brownish and on the inside they seem more black and white. Overall, I like where you are going.

  2. Is this where you work? What a job! I agree with Andee that the pictures need a border. And the photo filters give the whole thing an antique look that you might not want when you're talking about the criminal justice process. For Our Mission, I'd probably left align the copy but I think having things centered on the other copy on the outside is fine. Having copy left aligned in the inside like you have it works very well. In the flow chart, I'd probably space out the two boxes at the top which I think you have space to do. Even a tiny sliver of space would be enough. I do like the textured background, I love that kind of neutral natural feel. But I'd be a little careful of it lending itself to the old antique feel of the photos. Bringing some color back into the photos might lift the mood a bit too and help your office feel like a warm welcoming place to come during difficult times. The best photo is the picture of the women smiling (is that you in there?). It makes the whole idea of the justice system much more personal and less cold for sure.
