I really like this poster. It has a very calming look to it, even though it has very stressful implications. I like that you made Hopewell city public schools a fixture in the poster and that the gradient of the background helps the title pop. The only thing that I am a little confused about is the random boxed in A between Middle Matters and Hopewell city public schools. I am not too sure how it fits in with the rest of the poster.
The poster has a really nice look to it - simple, uncluttered, good easy-to-read font choice. Given that Dr. Beverly will be rolling this out to other locations, I'm not sure about putting Hopewell City Public Schools on it. Why don't you run it by her and see what she says? I like the photo and it does have a nice calming look, but it isn't really relevant to the grant, and I'm not sure that viewers will associate it with "something" new. Is this image something that you will repeat in the other products you will be making this semester? If this photo isn't yours, you need to cite it.
I also really like the look of this poster. Why not create a catch phrase that ties the photo and program together? Like: "Be the light . . ." or "Help young minds grow" or "Blossom into a new career"

ReplyDeleteYou know, I never noticed that A. What in the world is that?
