Your instructions have a very nice visual appeal! The red text and blue arrows work well on the black background. There are a few things you could do to make your instructions even stronger from a visual standpoint.
Your first image is a carton of milk, but the text says 1 cup of milk. This inconsistency could be confusing for a young person or someone who speaks English as a second language. You want your images and text to be redundant.
I would be careful to make all of the arrows the same size and shape. The arrow pointing off the page does not tell us anything. You want to show it pointing to the next step.
The red box around How to Make Hot Cocoa seems arbitrary. Since the words are not centered vertically in the text box, it seems unbalanced. I would either eliminate the red bounding box, or try to center the text vertically in the box.
