I would love any feedback anyone has to offer.  Thinking ahead to my poster, I went back to my logo and ditched it and came up with a completely new design.  This still needs work on alignment and color, but I want to know if people like this and if it is worth the effort.  Also, I am using Inkscape and trying to figure out how to put in the colors posted on the JMU website for logos.  Thanks in advance.

    Andrea,
    I really like this logo! I used Inkscape for my logo, and had to play with the "codes" from UVA's website to match the colors. You'd think it would be simple, but it wasn't. If you send me JMU's link, I'll see if I can help. The other thing I learned is: unless you put the different colors on different layers, the colors will not be precise (at least they weren't for me).

      Thanks for the feedback. I like this better than the original and will work to make changes. I have the Pantone # for JMU but didn't see that option. I may try to sample the color and see if that works. Yours turned out really well and the colors are a perfect UVA match.
